A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

The spirit has come back. He's haunting the best bar in town, and it's time for him to leave.

Use your accordion to challenge him to a duel. Mimic his melodies to stay alive. Harmonize with his guitar to send him into the depths.

Use A, S, D, F to play notes assigned to you as they cross the bar. Harmonize through the all 3 choruses to win. Make more than 5 mistakes and you're toast. Good luck.

Made for the Portland Indie Game Squad's Summer Slow Jam 2020.

The prompt and theme were 'music-first' and 'ghost notes' with a two-week jam timeline.

A huge thank you to BennyKok for his Rhythm Game Starter kit from the Unity Asset Store, which took care of 90% of the really tough work. You're an angel.

I put the song up for free on Bandcamp if you want to download it:

This was my first solo jam, here's what I came up with. Thanks so much for giving it a go.

Just amazing execution on this game. Like the graphic quality of your art style, the gameplay has no-nonsense or fluff. The game is a condensed lil ball of fun that is very aware of what the player will find appealing. I friggin love that the stage simply has a memorial for him-- hilarious. Great tunes, I love when videogame music can stand on its own. Also thank you for having mercy on our souls for hitting wrong notes, this lowly accordion toking girl thanks you.

thank you for the kind words, I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the game!

Top.

dang, you haven't played this yet?  stop reading comments and get this game already! it's VERY very good.

I adored this and, honestly, have nothing but good things to say. Music? Twangin'! Art? Bangin'! Difficulty? Just right! The third section had me sweating like the good ol' Guitar Hero / Rock Band days of yore. WELL DONE!

Ahh dang thanks so much!! You’re too kind. And I’m glad to hear I could induce some sweaty moments!
